are underwater cases for canon slr cameras safe?
have you ever used one? they’re really expensive but i really want one, i’m just scared water may seep through. advice/experience ?
The $100+ ones are probably safe but the plastic bag type ones that only cost about $35 are not. These soft plastic ones absorb water and humidify the camera to death. I almost ruined my camera but not quite. I would say that the more expensive ones for SLR cameras would be pretty safe. I would suggest not keeping it underwater for more than 20 minutes because it might start to get damp.
